WOOP Studios is a collective of four friends united by a love of graphic design, words, and images. Miraphora Mina, Eduardo Lima, Harriet Logan, and Mark Faulkner founded Woop Studios in 2010 to bring a unique and exciting angle to the fascinating world of collective nouns.
Their first initiative was to launch an online gallery of limited edition prints.
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima have spent the last decade working together as graphic designs on the Harry Potter film franchise. Harriet Logan is an award-winning photographer with extensive editorial and advertising experience.
Mark Faulkner is the founder and head of innovation at Data Explorers and it is his obsession with collective nouns that inspired his project.
Woop Studios, an online gallery devoted to "the fascinating world of collective nouns," has created in a series of witty and original limited edition prints. The unique collection explores the fun and creativity of collective nouns. Many are included in "A Compendium of Collective Nouns' published by Chronicle Books".
