Vasiliy Sablin born in 1947 in Orenburg region (Russia). In 1972 he graduated from Art College in Ryazan. 1966-1969 - did military service. Couple years later he worked as a graphic designer in Kolomna (Moscow region). In 1981 he graduated from V.Surikov Art Academy in St.Petersburg, department of painting and in the same year moved to Ulyanovsk where worked as an artist in Artists Foundation. In 1988 hebecame a member of the Russian Union of Artists.


Presented work is a cityscape. It shows view on Moscow with many buldings but also with some part of nature. The highest building that we can recognize is the central pavilion of the Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva (VDNKh) Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy). is a permanent general purpose trade show and amusement park in Moscow, Russia.
The composition is a rectangular arranged horizontally. Composition divided into two parts: heaven and earth, which adds horizontality to the image. In the upper part cold tones (blue) predominate, while the lower part is dominated by warm colors (green, beige).Signed, titled, dated and with other notes in Russian on the reverse. Unframed.
