Lidia Grzegorczyk (1931 – 2006) was a Polish painter associated with the Silesian artistic milieu, the author of landscapes and still lifes, which in their formal and spatial solutions refer to the work of Jan Dutkiewicz. From 1967, she belonged to the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. Her works are in the museum collections in Chorzów and in Rybnik.
Oil on board painting is a Silesian, winter landscape. First plan shows two typical for polish mountain architecture houses. The houses are wooden and are covered almost entirely with snow. Second plan is a mountain range also covered by snow. The third plan is a sky.
The whole composition is created by very cold colours - blue and white. The colouristic is mostly bright. The composition is a rectangular arranged horizontally.
The work is signed lower left by the artist. Framed in a wooden frame. On the reverse artist's stamp and stamp from the Silesian Museum in Katowice.
