Acrylic on paper painting was created by artist C. Coussy. It’s an abstract landscape. In the middle of the composition we can see the house with Victoria creeper. The composition is a horizontally rectangle. It’s composed by very visible brushstrokes which create the whole very colourful painting.
The work has warm (yellows, red, oranges, beige) and cold (greens, blues) colours, but colouristic is warm overall. Really strong colour accent is a red Virginia creeper on the house. The composition may seem static but thanks to the colour game that plays the main role here, we have the impression of dynamics.
The painting is signed lower right “C. COUSSY” by black paint. Framed in a wooden, gilded frame with olive green passe-partout.
This painting was donated to FARA Southfields.
