Fabien Cayere was born in 1970. He lives near Biarritz in the France basque country and near the Atlantic ocean. He learnt argenic process during his graphic design study in 1992. Fabien discovered the alternative photographic processes by reading books during his studies. He is producing sculptures and photography with different process: gum bichromate process, 8 film pinhole camera, lost wax technique.

His work titled "Nazara" created in 2012 is an example of his technique gum bichromate print.
