I. Made Tinggal is an Indonesian artist, who was born in an art family in Bali, in 1970. He learned to make paintings under the guidance of his father, who was one of the famous wayang-style painters. He has been learning to paint since he was in elementary school, and he continued on to the SMSR Denpasar Art Painting Department during four years.
In creating painting he uses mixed media on canvas and oil on canvas. Expressing his ideas on canvas is one of his hobbies. Balinese culture and everyday life become his inspiration. Most of the themes of his painting are all activity that touches his feelings, visualized into mixed media on canvas.He exhibited from 1991 until 1999 mostly in Bali.
His painting is an abstract double en face portrait. Shows two, ext to each other, similar woman until torso. They've got dark brown/black short hair, dark eyes and red lips. The composition is rectangle arranged vertically. He used many colorful paints with thick brush strokes. Signed lower right "im Tinggal 2004". Framed in a wooden, black frame.
