Hubert Bauer was born in 1905, in Ceske Zleby, Czecho-Slovakia. He had private studies of painting with Professor Konupek, with the artist Josef Prochazka, Professor Fr. Pavelka in Prague and Ad. Trager in Ceske Budejovice. Bauer exhibited in the Rubes-Galerie in Prague, in Ceske Budejovice and Hluboke n. Vltavou.
It's a impressionistic landscape with stream, farm buildings and cottages in Stribrne Skalici (Czech Republic). Signed lower right "H. Bauer" by black paint.
